ASA Midwest Tour, June 22nd, 2007

Wendricks Truss is proud to sponsor the #1 car of Mike Reichenberger for the 2007 Season!

ASA Midwest Tour Results:

Norway Speedway enjoyed the largest crowd in their history! It was standing room only!Local hero and ASA Midwest Touring star Jamie Iverson, who was previously sponsored by Wendricks Truss took home the victory in the Norway 100. Congratulations Jamie!

Nathan Haseleu earned the pole position with a quick time of 14.703 seconds.

Tom Lindquist a weekly Norway Star used his pole starting position in the last chance race to lead flag to flag capturing the victory, Russ Blakely second, Kyle Calmes third, Chris Grimes fourth, Benny Vancleeve fifth.

The Huge Crowd gave the command to fire up the engines! The field of 26 cars came to life. Steve Carlson and Fran Prestay led the pack to the green flag. The first caution flew on lap 6, when point leader Kenny Richards’ day went sour as the #9 died on the backstretch.

As the green flew again local favorites Jamie Iverson and Kris Kelly diced their way threw the field as they moved into 3rd and 4th. After another brief caution, Carlson had Iverson breathing down his neck. Jamie Iverson claimed the lead on lap 24. Kris Kelly followed Iverson passed Carlson into the second position as the two would then check out from the field. Iverson and Kelly ran one and two for the next thirty-seven laps until Donny Reuvers joined the party by chasing Kelly down on lap 63 and setting his sights on Iverson. As Iverson sliced and dicied his way threw the lapped traffic, Reuvers was nipping at his bumper just waiting for him to slip. With the laps winding down Reuvers could just reach Iverson’s back bumper, as Jamie Iverson drove his heart out, maneuvering the lapped traffic and holding off Reuvers earning his first ASA Midwest Tour victory.

After the race, in Victory Lane, Jamie could only utter the words “WOW” as he was speechless! “Owe it to the crew", he said, "Thanks to Travis Sauter, a big thanks to Mike Reichenberger and I owe this victory to all that have helped us, I can’t thank them enough” Jamie yelled out another “WOW” as he gave his wife Julie a kiss.

Donny Reuvers finished in the second place position, with Dave Feiler close behind him in the third spot and Kris Kelly in the fourth.
